Pelican Puppets have been performing puppet shows in NSW, QLD, SA and Victoria since 1994 at festivals, events, shopping centres, agricultural shows and pre-schools.

Suitable for all ages. A swag of fun puppet shows, including Punch & Judy, are performed from Pelican Puppets' colourful, traditional red & white striped portable theatre, with its self contained PA system, that allows us to perform anywhere that an audience can gather to watch. Inside or out, power or no power.

Marionettes, large hand puppets and large rod puppets are also used to interact with crowds or audiences. They can be walked around to add colour and interest to an event or space whilst entertaining the public.

Punch & Judy

Laugh with Mr Punch in his colourful adventures. Join in as this cheeky glove puppet sticks his large red nose into everything and then finds a way around the consequences. Meet his wife Judy and their baby. Then there is his friend Zac the clown, as well as Docs, Crocs and other puppet characters. Nothing gets in the way of Mr Punch having fun.

Zac 'n' the Box

When Zac the clown is left a magic box to look after by his uncle the Wizard, and at the same time trying to organise a cake for Mr Punch's birthday you have a recipe for laughter. Add a French chef, a swagman, the Wizard and mix thoroughly. Watch as the magic box causes mix-ups, muddles and magic.

Walkabout Puppets

Lots of characters to interact with the audience or wonder the crowd. Gilbert the Dinosaur, and Emily the Emu are large string puppets who, along with a crazy Pelican on the lookout for his tea and a Jester looking for jokes, plus skeletons, horses and clowns to entertain young & old.

School Touring Shows

Pelican Puppets offers all the above puppet shows as touring shows for schools. A day of puppet making workshops can be rounded off with a puppet show.

At present, Sean is able to offer a puppet program called Junkyard Chooks, where students explore how normal everyday junk can be transformed quite simply into something amazing.
